Transitioning Your Style From One Season to the Next
With Fall just a week a way, it is time to start thinking about transitioning into your Fall wardrobe. If you happen to live in the South like me, you may be finding yourself still melting in the afternoons. Temperatures have dropped about 5 degrees here in North Carolina (all the praise hands), but our friends farther South are only feeling Summer.
I'm going to share a few easy, simple, and affordable ways that you can go from Summer to Fall style while still being comfortable with the warm temperatures. It's how we do Fall for a bit her in the South!
It is typically chilly in the morning, warm in the afternoon, and then cools off again at night. Don't pack away your Summer dresses just yet. Add a cardigan or denim jacket over your dress and easily remove when the temperatures spike. You can also add a monogram vest to your long sleeve tee or button down to keep you warm and stylish during the cool times, and remove for later when it isn't necessary.
Sandals for Boots
When the temperatures begin to fall (slowly here in the South), we like to keep our dresses in rotation, but switch out our Summery sandals for boots. This is an easy way to be comfortable with the warm temperatures, but still break out your Fall style.
Fall Inspired Jewelry
Make a statement with your jewelry and complete your look. Switch out your bright, Summery jewelry for bold, statement necklaces that evoke the feeling of Fall. Whether it be dark tones, wooden beads, or rich colored tassels, adding a Fall inspired piece will enhance your Fall vibe. Need to add some new pieces to your jewelry box? We are obsessed with Belle.
Add A Scarf
Need to add warmth, but don't need a bulky jacket? Add a monogram plaid scarf to evoke the cozy feelings of Fall. Keep warm when you need to and express your personalize style. You can even add a monogram to complete your look!
Nail Polish and Make Up
Fall is all about warmth and cozy feels. You don't have to rely on your wardrobe alone, but have fun and play around with your nail and lip color. Try a new nail color in a deep hue to channel all the feelings of Fall. It is also time to test out your Fall beauty routine. A simple way to change up your beauty routine for Fall is to switch up your lip color. It is an easy and affordable option without breaking the bank.
Transitioning into a new season can be easy and affordable! What's your favorite way to Fall into style?
