The napkin collection was stitched with washable thread. Here are the thread manufacturer's directions for cleaning:

Wash with a mild detergent on delicate in warm water by themselves. Don't let your napkin sit in the water, remove immediately and tumble dry on low. Afterward, turn over and use a warm iron on the backside of the embroidery to remove any wrinkles.
