Engagement Gift Ideas

With the state of COVID-19 right now, it can seem like everything is canceled, but engagements certainly are not.  Here are my go-to engagement gift ideas that are special and thoughtful, but also practical with many being able to be enjoyed before and after their wedding day.  You'll be a gift-giving maven with any of these pretty picks!

-Monogrammed Cocktail Napkins- Who doesn't love to see their married monogram in action? Customize the napkin color, monogram style, and thread color to match the recipient's taste.

-Monogrammed Hand Towel- How fun would this be to send to a newly engaged girlfriend? It's practical and pretty with her new monogram or the couple's monogram proudly on display.

-Simply Jessica Marie Painting- Help the new couple celebrate their engagement by gifting them a beautiful watercolor print of a map or location that is special to them. Here are a few ideas: where they met, where they got engaged, or the location of their wedding.

-Custom Christmas Ornament- I had one of these for Stephen and I and it was always my favorite ornament to put on the tree every year.  So many options are available on Etsy that fit her style and taste.

-Evelyn Henson Mug- What bride-to-be doesn't want to show off her ring? Gift her this bright and colorful "So Happy" mug so she can celebrate and show off her ring with every sip!

-Beautiful Vase with Flowers- If you get the chance to celebrate in person, I love finding a pretty vase that I know the bride-to-be will love and filling it with her favorite flowers.  I love these hand made, hand-painted vases by For Pete's Sake Pottery.

-Champagne Flutes- Gift the newly engaged couple a pair of champagne flutes to celebrate their engagement.  I love that these can also be used at their wedding for toasts. How fun that they can pull these out to commemorate all of life's special occasions to come.

-Picture Frame- A quick and easy gift idea is to keep picture frames from TJ Maxx or HomeGoods on hand that will be perfect to frame their engagement and/or wedding photos in their home.

*BONUS gift idea that I think it is over the top thoughtful and fun is to add a bottle of jewelry cleaner to whatever you gift the bride-to-be so she can keep her new ring sparkling clean. This will likely be something that she hasn't bought or thought of yet, and she'll appreciate your thoughtfulness.
