Blue and White Brunch Centerpiece

Celebrate the season of fall by hosting a weekend brunch party.  If you live in the warmer parts of the country, the changing leaves will be a beautiful backdrop to brunch on the porch. Use this to your advantage and play up the colors of the season with your tabletop and décor. If it’s chilly, welcome friends, family, and neighbors indoors and bring touches of fall indoors with your florals and colors.

For our brunch party, I used a blue gingham tablecloth that pairs perfectly with the oranges, whites, and yellows of fall.  To me, blue is neutral as it plays so well with other colors, especially with the pops of orange pumpkins.

For the centerpiece, I popped a yellow mum inside of a blue and white ceramic pot that coordinated with the tablecloth, as well as added seasonal touches of orange and white pumpkins. Mixing sizes and colors is a fun way to add a festive touch to your table while keeping it interesting.  There are so many beautiful, seasonal options for flowers, such as sunflowers, roses, daisies, as well as mixing greenery into your arrangement, like eucalyptus.

If you have family coming into town for Thanksgiving, this is an easy and fun way to get everyone together as everyone is coming in or as a last goodbye breakfast after the festivities are over.
