Totally Tortoise

When it comes to style, whether in my home or my wardrobe, tortoise shell is on my short list of loves. I've always considered tortoise shell a classic pattern. I love it year around, but as we near fall, I'm crushing hard.  Apparently, I'm not the only one, because I've seen it everywhere. 

My approach to tortoise shell is simple: treat it as a neutral.  Just like leopard, it lays the ground work for beautiful layering that makes an outfit or space unforgetable.  Whether that's with a classic striped tee or a button down paired with gold accessories, or a tortoise shell piece of decor that lays the foundation for all your pretty patterns in your home to play together.
